Representatives from DeKalb County Utility Customer Operations will take questions from customers at the Maloof Auditorium from 4 to 6 p. m.

During that time, residents can verify if they are in the dispute process and also if their bills will be among the 8,000 to be released this week or if they’re still being evaluated.

After that session is complete, DeKalb CEO Michael Thurmond will give an update on the progress that’s been made on the county’s water-billing crisis.

Thurmond says this meeting is an attempt to be transparent about the ongoing situation.

The event will also be streamed on DeKalb County’s website.
