Here’s a quick question. What do you remember from childhood? Playing in creeks? Skinned knees? Skipping stones?

Well, Joyce McKay recently recalled some memories with her friend Jacque Minor. One key memory she has is being adopted by her great-aunt Beaula McKay.

After her adoption Joyce McKay moved from Springfield, Massachusetts to Opelika, Alabama — 80 years ago.
