Remembering Childhood During The Blitz

Sometimes the memories from childhood can stay with us for a lifetime.

Sara Dangel sat down with her father-in-law Derek Rudd recently and asked him about some memories from his time as a boy in England during World War II.

One of those memories included The Blitz, a German bombing campaign focused on London from 1940 to 1941. At this time, Derek lived in a town called Brentwood Essex that happened to be on the flight path of these devastating raids.
