This weekend, SCAD’s Open Studio exhibits 500 students, alumni, and faculty works from illustration to sculpture.

SCAD Associate chair of photography, Michael O’Brien, and SCAD MFA grad, Charlie A. McCullers, stopped by to speak with “City Lights” about their Open Studio show.

“It’s a combination of the fine arts discipline: painting, printmaking, photography, and sculpture. We all work separately, but also together. Personally, I’ve been curating since last spring, and it comes from what we see the students doing across all the levels,” said O’ Brien.

The open studio takes place on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
