StoryCorps Atlanta: ‘Next Thing You Know, I Was Snatched Up In A Headlock’

Rashid Brown grew up on the west side of Las Vegas, Nevada. He remembers it as a place where many people struggled, but he always had dreams of doing great things.

He overcame a learning disability to graduate college in the top 1 percent of his class, and eventually he moved to Atlanta to work as a training manager.

However, Brown faced unbelievable odds one night while on the job.

In the StoryCorps Atlanta booth, he told Andrew Craig about what happened.

Broadcast version of the story that originally aired on March 3, 2015.
