US Supreme Court Hears Georgia-Florida Water Fight

U.S. Supreme Court justices heard arguments Monday in the decades-long fight between Georgia and Florida over the water in the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint river basin.

Although most of the attention was on the College Football Playoff National Championship game between Georgia and Alabama, Georgia’s fight with another neighbor went before the U.S. Supreme Court this week.

The justices heard arguments from both sides Monday in the decades-long fight between Georgia and Florida over the water in the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint river basin.
