Taking A Trip Back To The ’60s At Serenbe Playhouse

The American Rock musical Hair has been around for over 50 years.
In that time it has become known for its ’60s psychedelic score, its embracing of hippie counter culture, and for pushing the limits of what can and cannot be done on stage.
The soundtrack and score were widely popular.
Hair’s most well known song is Aquarius. It charted number one of the Billboard for over six weeks in 1969 .
Hair is being shown at Serenbe through Aug. 18. Actor Adante Carter who plays Berger and Director of Production for Serenbe Joel Coady joined us to talk about the musical.
