The High Museum of Art is set to reopen next month. On July 7, they will welcome museum members and frontline workers (free with valid ID) only from July 7 to July 17. The Museum will open to the general public on Saturday, July 18. “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with executive director Rand Suffolk about the reopening process.

On June 23, the High will share a comprehensive plan outlining the new health and safety measures that will be implemented.

“At the end of the day, what we ultimately decided to do was to, from a very measured standpoint, figure out how to do a soft reopening or reentry into the ‘big revival,’ so to speak,” said Suffolk.

Exhibitions on view when the High opens on July 7 include: “Paa Joe: Gates of No Return,” “The Plot Thickens: Storytelling in European Print Series” and “Pioneers, Influencers, and Rising Voices: Women in the Collection.”
