Travelers are complaining about Uber and Lyft wait times at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

The airport moved the ride-hailing service pick up locations from curbside to the economy parking lots back in August.

Airport officials said it was a temporary move because of construction.

During Thanksgiving weekend, dozens of people took to Twitter to complain that they had to wait 30 to 45 minutes to get picked up by Uber or Lyft. Some said their drivers canceled because they couldn’t get to them.

Uber verified that its drivers are having trouble getting where they need to be at the airport.

An Uber spokesperson said her company’s been talking with airport officials about it for months, but so far there is no resolution.

She said Uber recommends taking MARTA first during peak travel times, then relying on the rideshare services to cover the last few miles of the trip. She also said travelers who can should request a ride from the international terminal where they can still be picked up curbside.

An airport spokesman said the delays were because of heavy holiday travel. He said Sunday night, there were more than 300,000 people that were traveling through the airport.

The spokesman said the lane closures at the domestic terminal were also because of ongoing construction.
