What To Expect From Ga. Lawmakers On Last Day Of 2019 Legislative Session
After weeks and weeks of committee meetings, heated public debates and quiet backroom dealings, the 2019 Georgia legislative session is coming to a close.
State lawmakers will gavel in for their official last day of work, known as sine die, Tuesday morning.
It’s a busy day of last-minute maneuvering, and there are still a few big legislative issues that are unresolved, such as a state takeover of Atlanta’s airport.
WABE’s Emma Hurt has spent much of the last few months covering the session.
