Season 1 premieres April 5 on PBS stations nationwide
ATLANTA – WABE, Atlanta’s NPR and PBS affiliate, today announced Equifax®, a global data, analytics, and technology company, as the national sponsor of My Money Mentors, the half-hour docu-reality financial coaching series produced by WABE Studios. The sponsorship from the Equifax Foundation supports the program’s expanded reach as Season 1 premieres across PBS stations nationwide beginning April 5, 2025, with episodes also streaming weekly on PBS.org and the PBS App, which started April 1, 2025 .
My Money Mentors makes financial literacy relatable, empowering, and judgment-free. Hosted by Jacqueline Schadeck, CFP®, and Chris Corinthian, a financial literacy coach, the series features real people navigating pivotal financial decisions—from first paychecks and family planning to entrepreneurship, estate preparation, and student debt. With empathy and expertise, the hosts help individuals tackle both practical challenges and deeper emotional roadblocks rooted in financial trauma or inexperience.
“This sponsorship from the Equifax Foundation is a game-changer for the reach and impact of My Money Mentors,” said Daniel Keller-Bradshaw, Vice President of WABE Studios. “Financial health is a foundation for individual and community well-being and support from Equifax allows WABE to amplify this message to a national audience and empower more people to take control of their money story.”
The Equifax Foundation helps people build financial capability, collaborating with consumers, communities, non-profits, fellow corporations, foundation and government stakeholders to support its vision of helping people live their financial best.
“Equifax believes that positive economic change starts with a single financial opportunity. Connecting people with the resources they need to help them establish and build financial health is fundamental,” said Kate Walker, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Equifax. “Our partnership with WABE on the My Money Mentors series is designed to empower consumers with the information they need on personal finances and financial health.”
