On Friday NPR’s Robert Siegel will sign off the air for the last time.

He’s been a national host of All Things Considered for 30 years and has worked for NPR since 1976.

Before Robert Siegel says goodbye, WABE’s local All Things Considered host — Amy Kiley — got a chance to speak with him.  She asked him to pass along a little of his wisdom.  They started with the heart of public radio: the NPR mission.
