Wells Fargo to Hire 200 in Georgia
A national bank with significant Georgia presence will hire 200 people in the state.

“Given basically the situation in the economy, by having more bankers, we have more people and more time to spend with our clients to really assess their overall financial picture,” Lawrence said.
With a still tight economy, Lawrence says more people are going to banks to find out how to improve their finances.
“I think you’ve got all sorts of mix out there and we want to make sure we’re situated to take care all of the different needs and all of the different options that are going on,” Lawrence said.
Wells Fargo hopes to fill the 200 jobs by the end of June. Most of them will be in Metro Atlanta.
