Transparency is considered an important requirement when it comes to running for public office.

To make that and other basic requirements clear, the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission has set out to sponsor workshops across the state before 2020 to teach people how to be good political candidates.

Holly Smith conducted one of those workshops this past week in Roswell.

“Morning Edition” host Lisa Rayam caught up with her afterwards at Roswell City Hall.
