Since the beginning of this week, Coy Bowles –a member of the Zac Brown Band– has been hosting Facebook Live sing-alongs every day for an hour. Bowles wanted to spread some joy and entertainment virtually while everyone’s safely at home.

“I’ve got books at home, why not read them? I’ve got songs that I wrote for kids, so why not share them?” he said.

“City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with Bowles in 2016 after the publication of his third children’s book “When You’re Feeling Sick.” Earlier this week, she talked to him by phone.

His new and first children’s album, “Music for Tiny Humans,” is set to release later this year.

For families at home, he is hosting a Facebook live sing-along at 4 p.m. EST.
