Leonard Cohen died on Nov. 7, and it didn’t take long for a group of Atlanta musicians to organize a memorial show.
Jeffrey Butzer is no stranger to paying tribute. He’s behind the annual Charlie Brown Christmas show at the EARL and has actually put together tributes to Leonard Cohen before, one as recently as September. But Saturday’s show at the Star Bar will definitely have a different mood to it. They’re calling it “Hey, That’s No Way To Say Goodbye” after a song off Cohen’s 1967 debut album.
