A new investigative ProPublica report claims that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas received lavish gifts from real estate developer Harlan Crow for more than 20 years. The report further outlines that Thomas never publicly disclosed any details about the gifts and domestic and international vacations given to him by Crow.
On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Rose Scott talked with several guests about whether or not Justice Thomas’s failure to disclose information about the lavish gifts he received from Harlan Crow is unethical and potentially unlawful.
First, Scott talks with Tanya Washington, a professor of law at Georgia State University, and Fred Smith, a professor of law at Emory University, about the investigative report and the Wisconsin State Supreme Court election.
