WABE politics reporter discusses changes to 'Cop City' funding legislation

Earlier this week the Atlanta City Council voted to approve funding for the controversial police/fire training center often referred to as “Cop City.”
After 16 hours of public comment, by a vote of 11-4, the $31 million dollars is on its way to fund the project in Southwest DeKalb County.
But councilmembers made some last minutes amendments that have gone mostly under the radar.
WABE’s politics reporter Rahul Bali joined “All Things Considered” to talk about what the changes mean and how the meeting managed to last so long.
