On City Lights’ series “Speaking of Music,” local musicians share work and stories in their own voices. In today’s segment, we feature rapper and singer Kodie Shane.
“Honestly, I’ve always been into music. I was born into music. I came out of the womb singing … but started taking music seriously when I was around 15,” said Shane. “My mom ended up getting a studio, and it just totally made me fall in love with it, and I haven’t looked back since.”
You can see Kodie Shane perform this Saturday at 10 pm on WABE TV as part of their “Sounds Like ATL” series. Also on this weekend’s program is the acclaimed artist Ben Trickey.
