Veteran Georgia politician and voting rights activist Stacey Abrams has made extraordinary achievements in public service. She was the first woman to lead either party in the Georgia General Assembly and the first African-American to lead in the House of Representatives.
Abrams founded the voting rights group Fair Fight Action and ran in a historic Georgia governor race twice. In addition to her political career, she is a New York Times best-selling author.
