You needn’t travel to the South of France, as the American South meets the best of French cuisine in Bon Appetit, Y’all by the award-winning cookbook author and chef Virginia Willis.
Her popular 2008 volume has been updated and released with a new preface as well as a new take on some classics. Virginia Willis joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes recently to discuss the updated classic.
“We’ve added new recipes, we’ve added new photographs… a new introduction and then… in many of the other recipes where I could reduce the fat and calories without sacrificing flavor, I did, and I’m just thrilled with the results,” says Willis about her new updated book.
