Georgia’s unemployment rate for March remains unchanged at 3.6%, six-tenths lower than the national rate of 4.2%, according to a press release on Thursday from the state Department of Labor.

The data shows a 6,900-job increase in March and a 23,100-job increase over the year.

“Georgia’s job market is full of opportunity, with nearly 5 million jobs and three openings for every Georgian,” said Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes in the release.
