Atlanta Blood Services (ABS) is a community-based blood donation service that provides blood products to the Atlanta metro area.
ABS says even before the outbreak – every 2 seconds someone in the United States needed blood. And on top of that, Atlanta was already experiencing a blood shortage. Now, with the COVID-19 pandemic, the need is critical.
