Since the COVID-19 outbreak, a new online radio station for senior citizens called “Radio Recliner” has been created. Radio hosts literally record shows from the comfort of a recliner in senior living homes around the nation.
“City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with Mitch Bennett, chief content officer of Luckie, an Atlanta marketing agency. The agency created this concept in collaboration with their client, Bridge Senior Living, as a helpful way for residents to remain entertained and connected while sheltering-in-place.
“There’s something about music that really brings back vivid memories and you can tell listening to this that the stories really come back,” said Bennett.
