Dad’s Garage’s ‘Scandal! League of Supervillains‘ takes over the world — one Zoom meeting at a time. “Scandal!” The annual improvised soap opera at Dad’s Garage is back, this time as “SCANDAL: League of Supervillains WFH (work from home).” Director and narrator Matt Horgan and actor Jamila Porter joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to discuss performing on the Zoom stage.
When asked what it was like to perform virtually, Porter said, “It was unique because it’s the first time ‘SCANDAL!’ has ever been broadcast that way, but it was so much fun. The premise of all the supervillains working from home is so ridiculous that it was hilarious.”
Porter’s character is called “Big Pharma,” which was modeled after her background in public health.
