Howard Liebengood, a 15-year veteran of the U.S. Capitol Police, died Saturday off duty, according to the force. The police gave no cause of death.
In a statement, the U.S. Capitol Police Labor Committee said Liebengood, 51, was among the officers who responded to the rioting at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.
