ATLANTA — The Georgia Department of Human Services will issue partial Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for November based on new federal directives. Recipients whose distribution dates have passed will receive their allotment by Tuesday, Nov. 11.

All other benefits will be issued according to the normal schedule for the remainder of the month. Recipients will receive up to 65 percent of their benefit amount, depending on their household income and other deductions, according to a news release.

Individuals should continue to lock their EBT cards between purchases to prevent unauthorized use and protect forthcoming benefits. Recipients can lock their cards using the “lock my card everywhere” function via the ConnectEBT app.
