One of Georgia’s largest movie studios has changed hands.
Ryan Millsap said he sold Blackhall Studios to Los Angeles-based private equity firm Commonwealth Group. The reported sales price was $120 million.
Since opening in 2007, Blackhall’s complex, located 10 minutes south of downtown, has tripled in size. Its sound stages produce more than $500 million worth of content annually.
