On Thursday at 11 a.m., Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp will deliver the annual State of the State speech before a joint session of the Georgia General Assembly. In the address, Kemp is expected to detail the priorities his administration wants Georgia lawmakers to push this legislative session.
This will be Kemp’s eighth and final State of the State address, as he begins wrapping up his last term as governor.
A team of WABE reporters and editors will annotate Kemp’s address, as prepared for delivery, with context and fact checks later Thursday morning.
