Follow the money: Atlanta-based political strategist on Georgia’s gubernatorial race

Georgia is one of thirty-six states in the U.S. that will elect a governor this year. Georgia’s gubernatorial election is less than nine months away, and the primary is taking place in May.

So far, a long list of Republicans and Democrats is vying for the Peach State’s top seat. In an effort to run an effective campaign, candidates spend money on advertisements, canvassing and more.

Atlanta-based political strategist Fred Hicks was a featured guest on Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look.”
