A new podcast is revisiting one of Georgia’s most enduring and puzzling mysteries.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has teamed up with Goat Rodeo to release “Who Blew Up the Guidestones?” — a six-part audio investigation into the construction and destruction of the Georgia Guidestones.

The granite monument stood for more than 40 years in Elbert County, known for its cryptic messages about humanity’s future and its anonymous creator, identified only as R.C. Christian. It was partially destroyed in a 2022 explosion, a crime that remains unsolved.
