Georgia Congressman David Scott died Wednesday at the age of 80.
Remembrances quickly poured in following his passing. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp offered his condolences, saying Scott was a champion for many communities, especially the agricultural industry, and that his impact will be felt for years.
Sen. Jon Ossoff said, “Georgia is a better place thanks to the service of Congressman Scott.”
