A Conversation With The Producers: ‘Tell Me the Story: The Black Church Experience in Atlanta’

For the next two nights at 9 p.m., PBS will premier its documentary, “The Black Church: This Is Our Story, This Is Our Song.”
This two-part series, hosted by Henry Louis Gates, Jr., chronicles Black Worshipers’ lives for over 400 years in America and how they translated faith traditions from Africa into a form of Christianity that became their own.
At 8:30 p.m., ATL PBA will air a local documentary with a local perspective called: “Tell Me the Story: The Black Church Experience in Atlanta.”
WABE’s host of “Morning Editon,” Lisa Rayam, spoke to the program’s producers Jaime Green and Brianna Carr, about the project.
