Since the 1970s, the London-born artist Judy Pfaff has been constructing a kaleidoscopic world of shape, texture and color through sculpture, installation, drawing, painting and collage.
Her installations jump out from gallery walls, like creatures prying themselves off their surfaces. Judy Pfaff’s artwork has been in the High Museum’s permanent collection for several years.
But now, a new solo exhibition offers an intimate encounter with her latest creations. “A Walk in the Park” is on view at the Johnson Lowe Gallery through June 28.
