Acclaimed actress Sarah Michelle Gellar receives Icon Award at SCAD TVFEST

Last month, SCAD hosted its annual SCAD TVFEST, and actor Sarah Michelle Gellar was in attendance to receive this year’s Icon Award. Gellar is notable for her role as Buffy Summers in the hit 1990s TV series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Her film credits also include “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” “The Grudge,” and “Scooby-Doo.”

While in Atlanta, Gellar discussed her new Paramount Plus Series “Wolf Pack.” She stars in the teen drama alongside actor Rodrigo Santoro. In “Wolf Pack,” Gellar plays Kristin Ramsey, an arson investigator looking into a mysterious wildfire in California. The plot follows a teenage boy and girl who discover a terrifying creature that has awakened due to the wildfire.
