Art Calendar ATL creators launch 'GULCH Mag' to spotlight Atlanta’s visual arts scene

The creatives behind the Gulch project are E C Flamming and Jasmine Hentschel, (William Downs)

Atlanta’s art scene constantly evolves, and sometimes it can be hard to keep up with all the new galleries, shows and installations.

While “City Lights” shares the latest arts and culture news over the airwaves, a new art magazine shares the latest on the page. Art Calendar Atl is the curated visual art weekly listings brought to you via newsletter, website, and Instagram.

The creatives behind the project are E C Flamming and Jasmine Hentschel, and now, they’ve taken their love of visual art to the print shop.

GULCH Mag” is their new, glossy print offering that shines with in-depth coverage of Atlanta’s visual art and culture scene. Vol. 1 is available now, and Flamming and Hentschel joined “City Lights” managing producer Kim Drobes to share their history and inspiration for creating a print magazine in 2025.
