Truist Park is offering more than just peanuts and crackerjacks to Atlanta Braves fans for the start of a new season.

The Braves on Monday announced that a new food hall will open inside the park ahead of the team’s season opener on April 4.

The Outfield Market will be located on the right field concourse and include eight food stalls. Vendors are expected to be announced in the next few weeks.

“Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta has become a go-to destination to enjoy the top foods of the Southeast,” said Braves senior vice president of operations Hannah Basinger in a press release. “Every year, approximately 10 million people visit our campus, and it’s essential that the offerings and service reflect our dedication to providing the ultimate guest experience,”

“The addition of this new food hall is yet another way for us to partner with fan-favorite local restaurants while also introducing our guests to up-and-coming concepts and chefs that highlight the unique flavors of Braves Country,” she added.

The market will also include a Braves merchandise store, a communal dining area, grab-and-go meal options and a 470-square-foot LED board for diners to watch game coverage as they eat.

The food hall is one of several additions coming to Truist Park this season.

The team announced in November that Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Park would open inside Truist this spring. The play area will have over 30,000 square feet of family space, doubling the size of the preexisting Hope and Will Sandlot play area designated for young Braves fans.

The play area is expected to be open on gamedays during the Braves season and accessible from the adjoining The Battery Atlanta for non-gameday events.

New features will include a reimagined kids’ zone with a rock-climbing tower and interactive play experiences, collapsible batting cages and a meet-and-greet area where children can meet and take photographs with Braves’ mascot Blooper.
