The Atlanta Braves are making their case to sit on the marketing Iron Throne.
The Braves have added a Game of Thrones Night promotion to its pre-opening day marketing onslaught, as the team hopes to continue its rise up the MLB hierarchy on- and off-the-field.
The team said Tuesday its offering a specialty “Game of Thrones package” for the April 12 matchup against the rival New York Mets at SunTrust Park. The game is set for two days before to the season premiere of the popular HBO show’s eighth and final season. HBO also released a trailer for the new season today (see below) that had more than 450,000 views in the first hour.
