Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus celebrates hope and rebirth in East Coast premiere of 'Songs of the Phoenix'

The new season of music by the Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus celebrates hope, triumph and rebirth. In keeping with the theme, on March 25 the chorus will present the East Coast premiere of a work titled “Songs of the Pheonix,” first performed by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus and featuring music by Stephen Sondheim, Ingrid Michealson and a diverse array of other composers and lyricists.

In this interview, Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus artistic director Don Milton III spoke with “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes about the upcoming performance.
