Home-court advantage can be a difference-maker in the postseason and the Atlanta Hawks are hoping for just that as they expand seating capacity ahead of the 2021 NBA Playoffs.
The Hawks announced Monday that State Farm Arena will increase, capacity to about 45% (7,625 fans) for the postseason, which begins with the new play-in tournament on May 18.
The Hawks’ postseason arrangement will feature a 500-person vaccinated fan section.
