Set in the 1950s Golden age of sock hop dances and drive-in movies, Grease is the story of a ragtag group of high schoolers from Rydell High. The stage play has seen countless productions over the years, including a hit movie with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John.
This April, Atlanta lyric theater is taking on this timeless teenage saga. We invited artistic director and associate artistic director Brandt Blocker and Alan Kilpatrick into our studios to have a conversation about their production of Grease.
