Atlanta Non-Profit Launches Free Coding School For Unemployed and Underemployed Adults

This week, Atlanta-based City of Refuge is beginning the inaugural class of its Tech Transformation Academy, a program funded by a $5.4 million Department of Labor grant that offers participants professional web development and cybersecurity training.

The accelerated program taught by industry experts Digital Crafts and the Carolina Cyber Center will train 280 students over the next four years, with City of Refuge providing professional development and job placement services.
