An epic Atlanta Opera adventure through Richard Wagner’s colossal, four-part “Ring Cycle” of operas continues this spring with the third in the series, “Siegfried,” after last year’s “Die Walküre” and 2023’s “Das Rheingold.”

Often cited as the most ambitious productions to date in the Atlanta Opera’s history, the opera’s journey through the mythic world of Valhalla, populated by gods, heroes and fantastic beasts.

The five-hour-long “Siegfried” premieres at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre April 26, with only four total performances through May 4 – each featuring a “Hero’s Feast” during intermissions.
