The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra begins its 2016-2017 season this week, starting off with John Adams, Jean Sibelius and Sergei Rachmaninov.
This is the first of several John Adams pieces the Symphony will perform, as a tribute to his 70th birthday and many years of collaboration between the composer and the orchestra.
