He’s barely 5 feet tall, slim and soft spoken. He was kicked, punched and hit him with a tire.

In the online video, Brandon White is ambushed by three others as he left the store located on McDaniel Street in SW Atlanta.

He initially wasn’t going to say anything or even call the police, “I was just going to be silent about it and let it ride over” says White.

But, once the video spread on the internet, the twenty year old changed his mind.  The Atlanta Police department is investigating the attack on the White.

Members of a neighborhood gang called the Pittsburgh Jack City Gang   are reportedly the

suspects.

They can be seen and heard on the video tape.

Georgia does not have a hate crime law.

However White said he hopes the attack on him will be prosecuted on the federal level.  U.S. Attorney Sally Yates has said her office will decided if the assault violates federal law, and that would include a hate crime law.
