Holiday cheer, ugly sweaters and chestnuts roasting all have their place. But Out Front Theatre Company has decided to go off the rails this season with a hilarious new holiday play by Ryan Landry and the Gold Dust Orphans.
“Murder on the Polar Express” mashes up the best of Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes and high-camp drag in a nutty adventure with “The World’s Foremost Drag Detective,” Shirley Holmes.
The show is on stage at Out Front Theatre through Dec. 22. “City Lights” producer Summer Evans spoke with playwright Ryan Landry and director Paul Conroy about the comedic drama.
