CEO Of Georgia Restaurant Association Reflects On Industry’s Challenges During Pandemic

Karen Bremer is the CEO of the Georgia Restaurant Association. Bremer joins “Closer Look” to discuss the resources that the association is providing to restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The leader of the Georgia Restaurant Association says many Georgia restaurant owners are faced with making some difficult decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Karen Bremer, who serves as the CEO of the association, says the state’s restaurant industry has been hit hard by the pandemic and many restaurant owners are trying to figure out how to stay afloat financially, all while protecting the health of their staffs and customers.

On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Bremer talked with show host Rose Scott about the resources that the association is providing to restaurant owners during the health crisis.

She also talked about several initiatives that the association has worked on with state and local government officials to help ensure restaurants reopen and operate safely during the pandemic.
