“The Colour of Music” festival will grace Atlanta for the first time since its inception five years ago.
Festival founder and artistic director Lee Pringle, professor Laura English-Robinson with Spelman College’s music department, and Dr. Candy Tate, the assistant director of Emory’s Center for Creativity and Arts, joined “City Lights with Lois Reitzes” to talk about the festival and why it’s important.
The festival isn’t until October. But there will be a free public concert as a precursor at Spelman’s Sisters Chapel on Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. featuring violinist Anyango Yarbo-Davenport.
