Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines plans to expand its in-flight Wi-Fi service to international flights, the airline has announced.
Delta currently offers Wi-Fi internet on domestic routes. A series of land-based transmitters carries the signal, which makes transmission across vast oceans impossible.
But the new technology uses satellites.
