Early voting is underway for Georgia’s U.S. Senate runoff between Senator Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker.

On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,”  Julianne Thompson, a Republican strategist and the president of Main Street Network Strategies, and Fred Hicks, an Atlanta-based political strategist and analyst talked with show host Rose Scott about early voting turnout.

“Early voting has just blown the doors off of election offices across the state of Georgia,” said Thompson.

During the conversation, Thompson and Hicks discussed several topics, including former President Donald Trump’s influence on the runoff race, Georgia Governor Brian Kemps’ political career, and what each candidate must do to get more people out to the polls.
